Games young people play

Scores of children and parents filled the Irving Primary School cafeteria last night for Family Game Night, a fundraiser for the Irving School PTO.

Children and parents had a chance to try out games before buying. The games came courtesy of Over the Moon Toys, with proceeds going to benefit the PTO.

‘Family Game Night’ set at Irving School

Tomorrow night is Family Game Night at Irving Primary School,  121 South Eleventh Avenue.

The Nov. 17 free event, co-sponsored by the Irving School PTO and Over the Moon Toys, offers board games, snacks, drinks, and door prizes for all ages. Activities will be geared to children ages two through 10.

Reminder: Today is Ditch-Your-Stash Day

Today is the day for borough residents to clear their medicine cabinets of unused or expired prescription medications, which might otherwise be abused, and dispose of them at the Senior/Youth Center, 220 South Sixth Avenue.

The drop-off, part of the nationwide Operation Medicine Cabinet program, is available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the center.
